ENI GROUP DATA PROTECTION POLICY

This section is dedicated to our Confidentiality and Privacy Policy.
We would like to inform you on the collection and use of your data.
The following data protection policy indicates how your data will be collected, processed and used. This policy is therefore important to enable you to have a positive user experience and to enable us to precisely answer your questions about browsing our websites.
We have appointed a personal data representative who will make every effort to fulfill the legal requirements in terms of confidentiality and protection of the personal data required for the ENI group’s activities.

Competent body and rights of the person concerned

The competent body for the collection, processing and use of your personal data is Editions ENI.

Personal data are concrete or personal indications relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
This could be your name, your phone number, your address and any data you may provide during your enrolment, when creating your customer account or the first time you log in to a digital product.
You may, at any time and with no charge, request to view, amend, block and/or anonymise the collected data. To do so, please contact us using the contact details provided above.
If you would like to contest the collection, processing or use, in total or in part, of your data by the ENI group, in compliance with the present data protection policy, please send us your protest by email or post using the details above. Do remember to specify any information we may need to contact you in order to better respond to your query.

Customer account

For each customer account created, we also create a client account, which is to say a direct access to the collected data, protected by a password.

1. Creating a customer account
The following data may be required to create a customer account (depending on your status, country of residence or on the website to which you are logging in):
– your email address
– your password
– your first name
– your last name
– your title
– your status (individual or company)
– your function
– your activity sector
– your address
– your telephone number
– your company
– your Intra-community VAT no
– Your CIF/NIF code
– your consent regarding the data protection policy
– your consent regarding the sending of marketing communications

The personal data have several purposes: authentication, access to the online services provided by the ENI group, the online declaration of personal data necessary to your enrolment, order processing, business relationship management, course funding, the response to our legal obligations, the ENI group communications (newsletters, special offers, trade fair details, white papers, etc.), a response adapted to your expectations concerning previously provided details…

2. Collection, processing and use of your personal data
We collect and process your data at different times: when you purchase a product, enrol, request information, download documentation, access our services, during the technical management of our services, the management of our commercial relationship, etc. This if for marketing purposes specific to our company (cf. paragraph 3) and to counter transgressions and fraud.
Your personal data will only be communicated to a third party if the law allows it, including to carry out the contract, for invoicing, or for marketing purposes. In the course of the order’s fulfillment, we provide the service providers we call on (such as transporters, logistics coordinators, banks, etc.) with, for example, the data necessary to the fulfillment of the order and contract. These service providers can only use the communicated data to perform their mission.

3. Use of your data for advertising purposes

Newsletters: you may receive our marketing communications if you provided your consent to receive them. Each newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe from our communications, which you can use to stop receiving them.

Advertising banners (retargeting): we can use data collected while you browse our sites (which products were viewed, for example) in order to display advertising banners on other websites. These data do not contain any information relating to your person (for example your contact details or your title).

Printed communications: you may receive our printed marketing communicatiosn unless you unsubscribe.

4- Cookies
A web browser is an app used to browse the internet in order to carry out searches, downloads, file transfers, etc. Standard web browsers are Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
Each of these web browsers have regular updates. It is best to implement these updates in order to best take advantage of the newest features, in particular the safety features.
The update methods and rate may change according to the web browser used. To install the updates, access the browser’s help and follow the instructions provided in the topics regarding updates.
When viewing an ENI group website, the web browser will deposit cookies onto your device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.). A cookie is a short string of characters saved to a file. It contains data enabling it to recognise your device (but not you as a person), save data for easy browsing, analyse your interests, analyse your browsing for statistical ends and even enabling you to share content via social media.
These cookies are saved to your hard drive and delete themselves after a set period.

5. Web analysis

The ENI group uses Google Analytics in order to improve your experience on our websites and provide you with offers responding to your needs.

Google Analytics (Universal) is a web-audience analysis service by Google Inc. (www.google.com).
Google (Universal) Analytics uses cookies to collect data in order to create statistical reports on how our websites are used, without identifying the users personally.
The collected data will help us reinforce our website’s performance, by reducing the loading time for previously visited pages and improving the user experience, for example.

AT Internet

We also use the technologies provided by AT Internet, to help us with our statistical analyses. AT Internet is represented by its CEO, Mathieu LLORENS, and its headquarters are located at 85 Avenue J. F. Kennedy, 37000 Mérignac, France.
The solution created by this service provider aims to produce data, statistical audience analyses and digital intelligence, communicating them via a secured web interface or by exporting the data (all types of exports: Excel, CSV, Word or API).
For instance, we can use this digital analytics solution, within our line of business, to determine strategic digital goals.
To use this site, cookies are placed on your computer and bookmarks are implemented. The collected Raw Data are temporarily stored in secure file servers. They contain different login data (number and duration of visits, number of clicks, pages visited, etc.).
